2016 SiteLink User Conference Huge Success Amid New Product Announcements
One-Of-A-Kind Conference In Its 5th Year, Delights Attendees
Raleigh, NC. May 9, 2016 — SiteLink, the leader in web-based software and payment processing for self-storage operations of all sizes, held its fifth user conference on April 24, 2016 on the top floor conference center of Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
The SiteLink User Conference is the only one of its kind in the industry and highlights SiteLink’s leadership. The one-day event brought record attendance and showcased the new browser-based SiteLink myHub in between educational sessions and panel discussions. More than twenty technology partners showed their integrations with SiteLink that give owners the freedom to choose the right partner(s) for their operation.
“The variety of seminars allowed us to explore more functionality than we find by just using the system,” said Phil Murphy, Next Door Storage’s President. “A software as robust as SiteLink always delivers tools some owners have not yet discovered. The User Conference shows solutions to problems we didn’t know SiteLink can solve. I think it is the goal of any company to reach a level where they can pull off a Conference like this.”
Two tracks of sessions and panel discussions catered to Daily Operators and Owners/District Managers. SiteLink customers shared real-world experiences alongside SiteLink staff in an interactive format with continuous Q&A and audience input. Visit the conference website for details.
Attendees saw presentations of SiteLink tools and how to implement them immediately. Some topics stood out as clear crowd favorites. SiteLink eSign™, built-in signature capture and electronic document storage, continues its rapid rise by delivering more rentals, adding rentals to websites and reducing printing cost. SiteLink users saw how Price Optimizer (revenue management) grows rent revenue without losing clients, while SiteLink Merchant Services (payment processing) showcased better reports and audit tools in addition to lower credit card rates.
Browser-based SiteLink myHub set Conference abuzz
SiteLink myHub emerged as the most talked-about item of the day. SiteLink Web Edition’s browser-based counterpart offers more functionality – in a browser. SiteLink is evolving myHub throughout 2016 to surpass Web Edition in both ease-of-use and the number of functions, and to continue SiteLink leadership in self-storage management software.
Technology partner CallPotential debuted their new SmartKIOSK. The indoor/outdoor-rated iPad-based system integrates seamlessly with SiteLink Management software, scans IDs and credit cards and completes rentals with SiteLink eSign in under two minutes.
Integrations remain king: flexibility, choice and best-in-class service a must
Customers have taken note of the more than forty technology partners making SiteLink the most widely integrated solution on the market today. Integrations with best-in-class technology partners offer owners the freedom to choose those who best fit their organization. That freedom of choice was on display and apparent as attendees visited with technology partners throughout the day.
The SiteLink API, considered by many the most full-featured in the industry, lets technology partners exchange data such as pricing, payments and availability in real-time. This year, the many partners showed their latest integrations.
The SiteLink User Conference brings current and future SiteLink users, technology partners and SiteLink staff together to share best practices, ways to implement today’s leading technology tools and strategies for generating more revenue. Most attendees stayed for the afternoon reception which included a raffle of tech gadgets like GoPro cameras, Bose Bluetooth speakers, solar-powered device chargers and more!
